1. The Standard We Aim For

We are working towards meeting the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. This is a recognised international standard for web accessibility. We have not yet carried out an independent accessibility audit, so we describe this as a goal we are actively working towards rather than a certified level of conformance.

2. Steps We Have Taken

We have taken the following steps to improve the accessibility of this website:

• Using clear, plain language and a consistent page structure
• Descriptive headings and a single main heading per page
• Text alternatives for meaningful images, and decorative images hidden from assistive technology
• Labelled forms, with clear error and confirmation messages
• Navigation and interactive elements that can be operated by keyboard
• Accessible labels on contact links, social links and the location map
• Attention to colour contrast in key areas of the site

3. Known Limitations

We are honest about the areas we are still improving. We are aware that:

• Some third-party embedded content, such as the embedded Google Map on our contact page, is outside our direct control and may not fully meet accessibility standards
• Some older content or documents may not yet be fully optimised for assistive technology
• The site has not yet been independently audited or tested with a full range of assistive technologies

We are continuing to review and improve the website, and we welcome feedback that helps us prioritise.
