Our Community Support & Outings service helps elderly and disabled adults maintain their independence and community connections across Manchester and Salford. We provide practical support for shopping, appointments, and social activities that keep our clients engaged with their local community, reducing isolation and promoting active aging.
From accompanied shopping trips to local supermarkets, markets, and retail centres, to assistance with medical appointments and social visits, we ensure our clients can continue to participate in community life safely and confidently. Our group outings include visits to Manchester's museums, shopping centres, parks, gardens, cultural venues, and seasonal events throughout Greater Manchester.
We organise regular community activities including visits to local attractions such as Manchester Art Gallery, Heaton Park, Trafford Centre, local markets, gardens centres, and cultural venues. Our trained community support workers provide safe, reliable accompaniment for all outings, with full risk assessments, emergency procedures, and accessibility planning. We also offer one-to-one support for personal appointments and shopping needs.
Our community support & outings is designed to support a wide range of individuals and families:
